- Business name, venue name(s), business address
- Role and team-member information you add
- Billing details, processed by our payment processor (Stripe)
Client & Event Data
- Contact information for your clients and prospects (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses)
- Event details (dates, types, guest counts, run-of-show, notes)
- Financial records (proposals, contracts, invoices, payment plans, transactions)
- Communications you send through the Service (email, SMS, portal messages)
- Files and documents you upload (contracts, images, attachments)
- Custom configurations (templates, automations, branding assets)
Support & Feedback
- Support tickets, chat transcripts, emails to our team
- Survey responses, feature requests, bug reports

- At your direction — for example, when you connect a third-party integration or invite a teammate to your workspace.
- Within your venue/portfolio — your teammates can see Client Data and event records based on the role and permissions you assign them.
- Legal and safety — to comply with law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Minaka, our customers, or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, with notice to you where required by law.
4. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information (subject to legal and contractual retention obligations)
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

California (CCPA/CPRA): California residents have additional rights, including the right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of sensitive personal information. EEA / UK (GDPR): Where we process personal data of individuals in the EEA or UK, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., securing the Service, preventing fraud), consent (where required), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account closure, we retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and audit obligations, and to resolve disputes. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being overwritten.
You can export your data and Client Data at any time from within the Service before closing your account.

- Regular reviews of vendor security and access permissions
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

Minaka is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for cross-border transfers.

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
